Sea Ray SDX deck boats are designed to provide maximum room for family and friends with comfortable seating for all. All models come with a choice of either Mercury outboard or MerCruiser sterndrive power to match your lifestyle. SDX models are perfect for families who are into entertaining and like to participate in watersports.

1. An Incredible Amount Of Seating Capacity Means There’s Room For Everyone

SDX models feature a stylish design that carries the beam all the way forward and creates an amazing amount of room for family and friends. The smallest boats in the lineup are the SDX 250 and SDX 250 Outboard, which have a passenger rating of 14 people. And thanks to the unique bow seating area, which has twin fore and aft-facing bench seats, six or more can sit in the bow section in comfort on this model. The SDX 270 and SDX 290 models have bow couches perfect for lounging. All models have an L-seating arrangement in the cockpit for maximum capacity and superior passenger flow through the cockpit. The two larger models of the SDX family are Yacht Certified, which means the number of passengers isn’t capped and is left up to the good judgment of the captain.

2. SDX Models Are Outstanding For Watersports

All SDX models have ski tow eyes and ample under seat storage for skis, ropes, jackets and tubes. Sterndrive models have huge swim platforms that offer the option to include a Submersible Swim Step for lounging and to reboarding easier for two- and four-legged guests. Their full-width design makes it conducive for staging watersports or lounging out back. All models can be upgraded with stylish watersports towers that can be equipped with speakers to provide a soundtrack while skiers are carving turns.

3. Family-Friendly Features Are Part Of The SDX Family DNA

SDX models have head compartments with standard Porta-Potti toilets that can be upgraded to electric VacuFlush heads that have holding tanks. In addition, there’s a sink/shower for cleanups. Unlike many deck boats that have relatively low hull sides, all SDX models have high gunwales for additional safety and better seakeeping when conditions get choppy.

4. Advanced Technology Makes Driving Easier And The Ride More Comfortable

To make sure SDX models are always trimmed properly, which maximizes performance, handling and fuel economy, all are equipped with Active Trim speed-based automatic engine trim system with integrated GPS. All models have DTS Digital Throttle and Shift to make sure shifts are always perfect, which greatly increases the lifespan of the engine’s outdrive. All aspects of engine performance, diagnostics, and onboard systems can be monitored by smartphones thanks to Mercury’s Vessel View mobile, which can even allow dealers to be alerted to conditions that need maintenance.

5. An Extensive Options List Allows Owners To Make SDX Models Their Own

All models are equipped with standard features that allow owners to head straight to the water and have fun. But for those who want to make their SDX model custom-built to match their boating lifestyle, an extensive list of options is available. For added entertainment wow factor, upgrading the Fusion stereo to include a subwoofer and more power is a great call. LED lighting adds nighttime ambiance, and the underwater lighting is cool and also makes your boat more visible to other boaters. While some SDX models come standard with a 9-inch Simrad GPS/chartplotter, all can be optioned to include a 12-inch touchscreen.
